FAQs
Therapies
Red Light Therapy
Red Light Therapy is a non-invasive treatment that exposes your bare skin to professional-grade LEDs to trigger healing at a cellular level. It is widely backed by clinical research for reducing fine lines, reversing sun damage, easing chronic pain, and boosting recovery.
-
Does it tan you? No, it does not contain any harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays, meaning it will not tan your skin or increase your risk of skin cancer.
-
How do I do a session? ReGEN offers numerous light therapies. The full body panel will sit roughly 12 inches above you as you lay on the therapy table, whereas, the targeted Celluma flexible panels can be molded to fit different areas of the body and will lay nearly directly on the skin. The full body panel sessions typically last 15-20 minutes; Celluma sessions last 20-30 minutes.
-
How often should I use it? For optimal results, use it 3 to 5 times per week. Consistency is critical, and it often takes a few weeks to notice significant changes.
-
Can I wear clothes? The light must hit your bare skin directly to be effective. You can remain clothed, but any area you want to treat must be completely exposed.
-
Should I have clean skin? Ideally, you should have clean, product-free skin as makeup, lotions, or heavy moisturizers. You can, however, apply a thin layer of a clear, water-based Hyaluronic Acid serum to the skin prior to using the Celluma face panel for anti-aging purposes.
-
Do I need eye protection? The LEDs are incredibly bright. Always wear the protective goggles provided.
-
Who should avoid it? If you take medications that cause severe photosensitivity (like Accutane), have active skin cancer, or have hyperpigmentation issues like melasma, consult your doctor before starting.
Contrast Therapy
Contrast Therapy is a recovery method that shocks your circulatory system by quickly moving your body between hot and cold environments to pump blood through muscles. It is widely used in sports recovery and physical therapy by helping you feel refreshed, decreasing soreness, and has been known to improve sleep quality.
-
How do I do a session? A standard session lasts 20 to 30 minutes. You typically spend 10 to 15 minutes in the heat, followed by 1 to 3 minutes in the cold. You can repeat this cycle 2 to 3 times.
-
Should I have clean skin? Ideally, you should have clean, product-free skin as makeup, lotions, or heavy moisturizers block your pores as your body tries to sweat.
-
How often can I do it? Most people start with 2 to 3 sessions per week, but it can be done daily if time is split up properly.
-
Do I need to hydrate? Drink plenty of water before and after your sessions.
-
Who should avoid it? If you have a heart condition, high or low blood pressure, nerve damage, Raynaud's phenomenon, or open skin wounds, it is best to avoid. Always consult with your doctor.
Mineral Float
A mineral float, also known as float therapy or Restricted Environmental Stimulation Therapy (REST), involves floating effortlessly in a private tub roughly 10 inches of water and over 500 pounds of medical-grade Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate). The water is heated precisely to skin temperature (around 93.5°F–95°F). This high density removes the effects of gravity on your joints while the environment minimizes external sensory input.
-
How do I do a session? You spend the entire time floating effortlessly on your back in the sensory pod. You are in full control and can choose to keep the pod door open or closed, and the internal lights on or off.
-
Should I have clean skin? Ideally, you should take a thorough shower immediately before entering the pod. This removes body oils, lotions, or deodorants that can contaminate the mineral water and disrupt your ability to float cleanly.
-
How often can I do it? Most people find great benefits with 1 to 2 sessions per week to manage stress and muscle tension, but it is completely safe to do daily if you are looking for deeper cumulative relaxation.
-
Do I need to hydrate? Drink plenty of water before and after your sessions.
-
Who should avoid it? If you have open skin wounds, infectious diseases, kidney disease, uncontrolled epilepsy, or severe incontinence, it is best to avoid. Always consult with your doctor.
PEMF Sauna Dome
A Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) Sauna Dome combines far-infrared heat with low-frequency electromagnetic pulses to stimulate cellular repair. This process improves blood circulation, accelerates muscle recovery, and reduces chronic joint pain by charging your body's cells. It is highly effective for reducing chronic inflammation, easing muscle tension, and promoting deep relaxation.
-
How do I do a session? Lie down comfortably inside the dome for 20 to 30 minutes per session, allowing the thermal energy and magnetic pulses to envelop your body.
-
How often should I use it? For chronic pain or recovery, use it 3 to 5 times per week, though daily use at lower temperatures is perfectly safe.
-
Can I wear clothes? It is best to use it completely bare or in light cotton clothing, as heavy fabrics can block the direct absorption of the infrared heat.
-
Should I have clean skin? Ideally, you should have clean, product-free skin as makeup, lotions, or heavy moisturizers block your pores as your body tries to sweat.
-
Who should avoid it? Those with an implanted electronic device (like a pacemaker). Always consult with your doctor.
-
Do I need to hydrate? Drink plenty of water before and after your sessions.
Compression/Lymphatic Drainage
A high-tech recovery system consisting of inflatable boots, sleeves, or hip attachments that inflate in segments to massage limbs and flush out metabolic waste. It is the premier standard for elite athletic recovery, proven to rapidly increase peripheral circulation, reduce muscle stiffness, and accelerate fluid clearance.
-
How do I do a session? Zipped into the sleeves, standard sessions last 20 to 45 minutes. The system inflates zone-by-zone, starting at your feet/hands and moving upward toward your torso before releasing.
-
How often should I use it? You can use it daily after hard workouts or long periods of standing. It is highly flexible and can even be used as a pre-workout warm-up for 10 to 15 minutes.
-
Can I wear clothes? Yes, you should always wear a thin, clean layer of clothing (like leggings, sweatpants, or a long-sleeve shirt). Never use the suit on completely bare skin, as the synthetic material can pinch or cause friction burns.
-
Who should avoid it? Avoid using the suit if you have an active blood clot (DVT), a local skin infection (like cellulitis), unhealed surgical incisions, or severe cardiovascular conditions like congestive heart failure.
Always consult with your doctor.
Vibration Plate
Our standing vibration plate is a motorized, stable fitness platform equipped with supportive handlebars that passes mechanical vertical or pivotal vibrations through your entire skeletal and muscular system. It is heavily utilized in physical therapy and athletic training to accelerate warm-ups, improve balance, increase bone strength, and stimulate lymphatic drainage.
-
How do I do a session? Stand on the plate with your knees slightly bent—never locked—while holding the handles for stability. Standard sessions are highly efficient, lasting just 10 to 15 minutes whether you stand still or perform light squats.
-
How often should I use it? For optimal benefits in circulation and bone density, use it 2 to 3 times per week. Avoid overusing it multiple times a day, as your muscles and joints need time to recover from the rapid contractions.
-
Who should avoid it? avoid this machine if you are pregnant, have a history of retinal detachment, have recent joint replacements, or have active blood clots (DVT). The intense mechanical shaking can dislodge implants, clots, or healing tissues. Always consult with your doctor.
Did you know our vibration plate is located in the private fitness room? A fitness room with a treadmill, free weights, yoga mats and more!
Vibroacoustic Bed
The inHarmony vibroacoustic bed is a specialized, contoured recovery bed embedded with high-fidelity transducers that convert sound frequencies into physical, resonant vibrations that ripple through your entire body. It is highly effective for reducing chronic anxiety, lowering muscle tension, improving sleep quality, and alleviating neurological stress.
-
How do I do a session? Lie down comfortably on the contoured bed, put on a pair of high-quality noise-canceling headphones, and select a frequency track. Sessions typically last 20 to 45 minutes as the physical vibrations sync with what you hear.
-
How often should I use it? For managing stress and anxiety, use it 3 to 4 times per week. Daily sessions are also perfectly safe and highly beneficial for chronic sleep or pain management.
Can I wear clothes? You can remain fully clothed in loose, comfortable attire. Avoid heavy jackets or thick, rigid outerwear, as lighter clothing allows the sound vibrations to pass directly into your body without being muffled. -
Who should avoid it? You should avoid this therapy if you have a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device (as the magnetic transducers can interfere with them), have active deep vein thrombosis (DVT), or are prone to sound-triggered epilepsy or severe vertigo. Always consult with your doctor.
Hydrogen Inhalation System
This therapy utilizes distilled water and polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) technology to split water into pure hydrogen gas. Inhaling this gas delivers a massive dose of molecular hydrogen (H2), a selective antioxidant that neutralizes destructive free radicals, reduces systemic cellular inflammation, and boosts cellular energy. It is backed by hundreds of clinical studies showing it rapidly penetrates the blood-brain barrier to protect organs, lower oxidative stress, and accelerate athletic recovery.
-
How do I do a session? Sit comfortably, place the nasal cannula prongs into your nostrils, and breathe normally.
-
How often should I use it? For chronic inflammation or daily wellness, use it 1 to 2 times daily. Consistency is key, as hydrogen gas leaves your system within a few hours after you stop inhaling it.
-
Who should avoid it? Anyone with severe, unmanaged chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), active lung infections, or severe respiratory failure should consult their pulmonologist before introducing altered gas concentrations.
Transcranial Photobiomodulation
Transcranial Photobiomodulation (tPBM) uses targeted red and near-infrared light wavelengths (typically 810–1064 nm) to penetrate the skull and reach the cerebral cortex. This process stimulates complex IV in your brain's mitochondria (cytochrome c oxidase), ramping up ATP energy production, improving regional blood flow, and promoting neuroplasticity. Clinical research shows it is highly promising for enhancing working memory, boosting cognitive performance, and acting as an adjunct therapy for depression and anxiety.
-
How do I do a session? Place the headset or device onto your scalp, ensuring the LED/laser diodes are pressed firmly against your head.
-
How often should I use it? For cognitive or mood support, use it several times per week (or up to daily). Consistent use over several weeks is required to notice measurable shifts in neuroplasticity.
-
Who should avoid it? Individuals with photosensitive epilepsy (if the device uses a pulsing or flickering frequency), active head/brain carcinomas, or those taking severe photosensitizing medications should strictly avoid it. Always consult with your doctor.
Can pregnant women use the services offered at ReGEN?
Although most therapies are considered safe, it is highly encouraged to consult with a healthcare provider before using.
